A few days before Thanksgiving we took our acoustic guitars to the Hyco House Manor in Mathews, VA to play for the benefit of a local family who recently lost their son, Cameron Dickerson.

It was a successful event that perfectly demonstrated what it means for community to watch out for each other, coordinated by the fantastic staff at Hyco. We were humbled and honored to be able to help celebrate Cameron's life in the small way we could contribute, but, being inspired by the spirit of community shown by the folks at Hyco, we want to do more. We had the pleasure of meeting a lot of people that day, including Cameron's family. These are good people and they need our help. Losing family is never easy, and this time of year it can be almost unbearable.

We want to call on our friends and community to help them bear it as best as we can. We recorded our performance and have released it here. All of the proceeds from this memorial album will be donated directly to Cameron's family to help with whatever expenses they see fit. The price is whatever you want it to be, every bit helps.

Everyone deserves to have a good Christmas and the Dickerson's might need it more than anyone right now.

This time of year can be tough for a lot of people, so if anyone ever needs anything don't hesitate to reach out to us. There are a lot of big-hearted people around the Grove and we will help however we can, even just to talk to have someone to talk to.
